2001 Yamaha R1 champions edition. Only 1000 made. For sale with private plate.
Reluctant sale due to back problems following a car accident (not involving this bike by the way). I now need something more upright.
Bike is taxed till the end of October and has 12 months mot. Just fitted with a brand new Delkelvik stainless exhaust. Has a pillion seat and cowling.
Smoked headlight protectors" short levers in blue. This bike is in immaculate condition apart from a couple of marks as follows:
1) few scuffs on near side crankcase cover where it was caught on a high kerb. This can be easily touched up.
2) mark on the off side swing arm, where the previous owner fitted the bike with a high level exhaust and for some reason ground it slightly to make it fit. This is only 1-2mm deep and can be covered up, but is shown in the photos so that there are no surprises to anyone who views the bike. You can only see this because I put the exhaust back to a low level as intended.
3) few small stone chips around the lower front fairing behind front wheel, but to be expected, nothing major.
Apart from this the bike is stunning. Looks awesome and performs even better.
